Causes and dealing with malfunctions

Circuit or main MCB tripped.
■
Tripped control fuse, see the section “Monitoring
and maintenance” - “Control fuse”.
■
Heating curve set incorrectly, see the section
“Settings” - “Default setting”.
■
Tripped temperature limiter, see the section

“Resetting the temperature limiter”.
■
Air in the boiler/heating system.
■
Circulation pump stopped, see the section “Causes
and dealing with malfunctions” - “Helping the circu-
lation pump to start”.
■
Max thermostat or temperature limitation set too
low, see the section “Settings” - “Max thermostat”
and “Electrical installation” - “Max
thermostat/Temperature limitation”.
■
Switch set to 1 or 0 position.
■
Air in the circulation pump, see the section
“Causes and dealing with malfunctions” - “Helping
the circulation pump to start”.
■
Too low capacity set on the circulation pump.
■
Selector (25) set to “Permanent night”.
■
Radiator thermostats/room thermostat set too low.
■
Load monitor blocked a part of the output due to a
too large total load on the main fuse.
EVC 13 is, as an extra safety measure, equipped with
a “Standby mode” (position 3) on the operating mode
switch. This mode can be used should the ordinary
control system stop working.
In this mode the max thermostat regulates the
boiler/flow temperature to the set value. The circula-
tion pump and the immersion heater are operational.
The immersion heater is limited to 6 kW. A hot water
heater is voltage fed.
Low room temperature

Heating curve set incorrectly, see the section
“Settings” - “Default setting”.

Radiator thermostats/room thermostat set too
high.
In those cases the EVC 13 feeds an electric hot water
heater, no hot water may be due to one of the follow-
ing reasons:

Circuit or main MCB tripped.
■
Water heater blocked by tariff control.
■
High hot water consumption (especially with tariff
control).
■
Tripped internal fuse (27) (only with internal power-
ing of an electric water heater).
High room temperature
No hot water
