EVC 13
When the temperature limiter trips, this is reset by
pressing in the reset button, for example, with the help
of a screwdriver.
Resetting the temperature limiter
NOTE!
When the cause of the malfunction can not be located and rectified with the help of
above list, a service should be requested.
■
Shut down EVC 13 by turning the switch (8) to “ 0 ”.
■
Loosen the venting screw with a screwdriver. Hold
a cloth around the screwdriver blade as a certain
amount of water may run out.
■
Insert a screwdriver and turn the pump rotor.
■
Screw in the venting screw.
■
Start EVC 13 and check whether the circulation
pump runs.
It is usually easier to start the circulation pump with
EVC 13 running, switch (8) set to “
2 ”. If helping the
circulation pump to start is performed with EVC 13
running, be prepared for the screwdriver to jerk when
the pump starts.
