—Line 1 shows the System ID (SID) description.
—Line 2 shows the Failure Mode Indicator (FMI) description.
—Line 3 shows the SID value in decimal and hexadecimal.
—Line 4 shows the FMI value in decimal and hexadecimal, and an occur-
rence count (e.g., x:002 indicates the fault occurred twice).
Brake-Link™ truncates some of the SID and FMI descriptions to fit the 20-
character line display. Refer to Appendix A for full SID and FMI descriptions.
NOTE:

If there is more than one code and the ECU supports displaying multiple
codes, a down arrow appears next to the occurrence count; scroll the dis-
play with the
and keys. At the end of the list, an up arrow
appears on the left side of the screen. If ECU only transmits one existing
code at a time, you have to repair the problem causing the fault before
you’ll see the next code.
