Analyzing Cell Intensity Data

GTYPE provides several options for analyzing cell intensity data from
DNA arrays. This chapter provides an

overview of these options

(see

below) and instructions for performing an analysis using:

• The Analyze dialog box (see

• The data tree (see

• The Batch Analysis window (see

Overview

Using Affymetrix

®

algorithms, the GTYPE Analysis function allows

you to analyze cell intensity data from the following DNA arrays:

• Affymetrix GeneChip

®

Mapping 10K Array (see

• Affymetrix GeneChip

®

Human Mapping 100K Array Set or the

GeneChip

®

Human Mapping 500K Array Set (see

®

The analysis produces an output file with a .chp file extension, for each
sample. These output files can be displayed in the appropriate
algorithm Mapping Analysis window in GTYPE.

When you perform mapping analyses, an algorithm report is
automatically generated. Algorithm reports provide information
