7.4.1

RTC Battery

The RTC lithium batteries should be replaced after 10 years. A label on the back of the 

device specifies when the battery must be replaced:

Figure 7-1   "Battery Replacement" Label on the Back of the Device (example)

Very high-quality and long-life batteries are used. It must still be noted that the
service life of batteries strongly depends on the utilization conditions (ambient
temperature and temperature fluctuations).

You must enter the date of the next battery 
replacement in your maintenance document.
