Connecting an HDMI Video Monitor

An HDMI monitor may be connected to TransVu 3 using a commercially made HDMI cable. The
HDMI socket is located beneath a blanking plate below the hard disk drive caddy.

Connecting a Composite Video Monitor

Signal type:

Unbalanced, ground common to chassis

Signal level:

1 volt peak to peak

Signal termination:

75 ohms, fixed

Recommended cable:

Coaxial, 75 ohm impedance, 90% copper braid, copper multicore
central conductor.

TransVu 3 incorporates a 75 Ohm composite video output

Connecting Audio

Signal type:

Unbalanced, common analogue ground

Input type:

Microphone or line sensitivity software selectable

Signal level:

Line in: 1 x 1V peak to peak
Line out: 1 x 1V peak to peak
Microphone: 1 x 50mV to 1.5V peak to peak with Bias Supply
