Enter the syslog information in the following fields:
•
Enable Syslog
. Select this check box to enable the syslog server.
•
Syslog Server IP address
. The IP address of the syslog server.
•
Port Number
. The port number that is configured on the syslog server on your LAN. The
default port is 514.

Click
Apply
. The wireless access point sends all the system activity information to the
specified IP address.
Viewing System Information
The System Information is a summary of the wireless access point configuration settings.
To view the system information screen:
1.
Log in to the wireless access point at its default LAN address of
http://192.168.0.229
with its
default user name of
admin
and default password of
password
, or using whatever password
and LAN address you have chosen for the wireless access point.

Select
Monitoring
>
System
. The System information screen displays (see
Figure 4-8 on page
4-9
).

describes the system information fields.
