programming SMS Telephone Numbers
D8XCEL & D16XCEL have 5 user-
programmable phone numbers for
reporting of alarm events by SMS
messaging.
phone Numbers 1, 2 and 3 will
receive SMS alarm reports (not
open/close reports).
phone Number 4 will only receive
open/close reports for area 1*
phone Number 5 will only receive
open/close reports for area 2*
phone Numbers 6 to 10 are
used for the panel to recognise
“Known” phone numbers and reply
appropriately to operation and
programming commands. These
numbers do not receive any SMS
alarm reports.
Note 1. phone numbers 6 to 10 are
not essential if the phone sending
SMS commands is programmed in
one of phone Numbers 1 to 5.
Note 2. The panel will respond
to a valid command from any
mobile phone number, not just the
numbers programmed. however
“Unknown” phone numbers will not
get replies to invalid messages.
* If open/close reporting has been
enabled by your installer.
In User program Mode.
Touch SMS 1-5 or SMS 6-10 to edit one of the
telephone numbers.
