INSTALLING THE CABLE
TENDER ASSEMBLY
Fasten the cable tender rod to the cable tender
angle using a U-bolt, 5/16” lock washers, and
nuts, as shown in Figure 23. Be sure the loop in
the rod hangs downward.
Fasten the above cable tender assembly to
the Pivot Arm using 3/8” x 1” bolts, lock wash-
ers, and nuts. With the motors in the outermost
position, drape the main cord along the cable
tender to determine which holes to use. The
main cord should be about 22’ to 25’ long. Note
that three-auger and four-auger units have two
power cords on the cable tender.
ATTACHING THE CORDS
Refer back to Figure 19 which shows the proper
motor lead and power cord connections. Note
that cords running “uphill” represent cords on
the cable tender rod.
Attach the electrical junction box to the pivot
arm using ¼” x ¾” metal screws.
