Clean fingerprints or dust from the disc by wiping it
with a soft cloth. Gently brush the cloth from the center
of the disc toward the edge.

 

CAUTION:  

Do not use benzene, paint

thinner, record cleaner, static repellent, or any other
chemical on the disc. Chemicals and cleaners can
damage the disc.

 Wipe a disc from the center and toward the edge

MOVING GUIDELINES

 

Use the following steps to prepare your system for moving
or shipping.

1. 

Back up your hard disk files onto diskettes or tape
cartridges.

 

Be sure to take precautions for storing and transporting
diskettes or cartridges so that they are not exposed to
magnetic fields or electrical impulses.
