3-10 Option Installation

Figure 3-8 Removing the Slot Cover and Retaining Bracket

Holding the board by its edges or its bracket, insert the board into the PCI
expansion slot connector on the riser card (see Figure 3-9, C).

Press the board firmly into the expansion slot connector. Gently rock the
expansion board from side to side to seat it in the connector.

Use the slot cover screw removed earlier to secure the expansion board and
retaining bracket (see Figure 3-9, D).
