Hard drive activity (green)
This LED indicates that data is being read from or written to an IDE hard
drive. For the LED to function properly, the IDE drive must be connected to
the onboard IDE controller on the riser card.
LAN activity (green)
This LED indicates that data is being read from or written to the network. For
the LED to function properly, the network cable must be connected to the
LAN controller on the riser card.

The power lamp lights green to indicate that the system is on. The NEC startup screen
appears.
At the bottom of this screen, messages like the following appear:
Press <F2> key if you want to run Setup
Press ESC to display POST
NOTE:
These messages are part of the system’s
Power-On Self-Test (POST). The computer is
checking the hardware for any changes since the
last startup. If you want to see the messages
displayed during POST, press ESC. If you want
to go into the Setup Utility, press
F2
.
