CHAPTER 8 FUNCTIONS OF RESPECTIVE CHANNELS

This chapter describes in detail the functions of channels 1 and 3 of the IE-784000-R.

Channel 1 is an interface for setting network information, and channel 3 is an interface for the host machine.

You do not have to read this chapter as long as the IE-784000-R is connected to the host machine by either of

the following methods in accordance with CHAPTER 6 CONNECTING PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT.

Connect the PC bus interface port (CH3) and host machine.

Connect the network interface port (CH1) and host machine.
