 2-20   Using Your Computer

 Locating the battery

4. 

Carefully pull the battery upward until there is sufficient
space to slide the battery out of the socket . You can lift
the battery with a plastic screwdriver or orange wood
stick; however, be careful to avoid scratching the system
board.

5. 

Remove the battery and discard in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions.

6. 

With the positive (+) side facing up, slide the new
battery into the socket.

7. 

Replace any removed expansion boards.

8. 

Replace the system access cover.

9. 

Connect external peripherals and power cables

10. 

Run the Setup Utility to reconfigure your system
parameters (see Chapter 4).
