Pressing the

CLR

prompt key brings up the Clear menu from which you may select any of the following:

CAMP ------- ALL

: cancel all camp-ons set to any extensions or exchange lines

---

ICM

: cancel any camp-ons to extensions

---

LINE

: cancel any camp-on for an exchange line

MSG --------- ALL

: clear all message waiting requests sent/received by your extension

---

SENT

: clear all message waiting requests sent by you to others

- RECV

: clear all message waiting requests received at your extension

RPT

: cancel the request for the number to be redialled automatically

Pressing the

Dir

prompt key brings up the Directory Dialling menu from which you may select any of the following:

ABBc

: search for common abdial by name

ABBg

: search for group abdial by name

EXT.

: search for extension by name

The keypad is used to enter the first character of the desired name; press the dial key the correct number of times to display the
required letter. (The letters are printed on the keypad of the telephones).
For example, the dial 2 key scrolls round

A -> B -> C -> 2 -> A..

the dial 3 key scrolls round

D -> E -> F -> 3 -> D..

If you wish to enter more than the first character, press the

CHECK

key to store and move to the next character.

The

TRFR

key will delete a stored chracter.

The following pages show how to search and dial by name using the Directory Dialling menu.
