NAME STORING†
A name may be assigned to each extension and abbreivated dial code. A display key telephone may program any extension
name and the abdial names if allowed. The characters are stored under the ten One Touch keys as follows :

Use the following procedure to enter characters :
1. Press a One Touch key the required number of times to display the correct letter
eg. for B : press the first One Touch key twice; for S : press the fifth One Touch key three times
2. If you select the wrong One Touch key simply press the correct key to override
3. To toggle between lower and upper case press the
DND
key before the selecting the One Touch key
4. To confirm each letter, press the
CHECK
key
5. To delete a confirmed letter press the
TRFR
key
To enter an extension name
- Press an idle
CL
key
- Dial
8 0 0
followed by the extension number
- Enter the name (up to 10 characters) using the above procedure
- Press the
CLEAR
key to confirm the full entry
- Press the
HOLD
key
- Press the
SPK
key to complete
