ACCOUNT CODES
These are user-dialled codes that may need to be entered when placing a call. An account code may be optional: to be entered
at any time during a call (generally for call logging purposes), or forced: it must be entered every time an exchange line call is
made, otherwise the system prevents the call. An account code may be up to eight digits including #.
To enter an optional account code (at any time on a call) To enter a forced account code
- Press the * key - Access an exchange line
- Dial the account code - Press the * key
- Press the * key again - Dial the account code
- Press the * key again
- Dial the external number
Dial Block allows you to temporarily change the toll restriction (for dialling) set for your extension. Permission to use dial
block and its associated toll restriction is set in system programming. If you forget your password, see your system supervisor.
