WorldMark 4300 Server Management Product Manual

Core Files – Check for a process core file in the SMDATAROOT location of /var/ldsm. If any
exist, provide a stack trace or the core file to development.

System Tunables & IPC Sem ID – ldsm uses IPC semaphores for synchronization. The current
setting of the system tunables for IPC variables SEM* are helpful to identify problems in
synchronization. The IPC semid currently used by ldsm is listed in /var/ldsm/shm/sm_semset0.
The UNIX system IPC semid can be viewed using command

ipcs -s
