Description

SMB Status Change
Event
Reports a change in the status of the SMB.
A warning state indicates that the SMB detected an
error condition. An SMB Reset may clear the
problem.
A critical state indicates the SMB detected a critical
or non-recoverable condition. The SMB should be
reset, updated, or replaced.

SMB Reset Occurred
Event
Reports the SMB has been reset.

SMB Update Completed
Event
Reports the SMB has been updated with a new
version of the firmware.

SMB Update Aborted
Event
Reports the SMB Firmware Flash was aborted.

SMB Update Requested
Event
Reports an SMB Firmware Flash has been
requested.

SMB Flash Area Write
Limit Exceeded Event
Reports that the SMB Flash Area is nearing
expiration and that subsequent flash download
attempts may fail. The SMB needs to be replaced.

SMB Requested Node
Shutdown Event
Reports the SMB has requested to shutdown a
node.

SMB Requested Node
Reboot Event
Reports the SMB has requested that the node
perform an OS reboot.

SMB Agent Failed Event
Reports the SMB Agent has failed.

Chassis Status Change
Event
Reports a change to the chassis status. This may
be due to an environmental condition or a
component failure.

Chassis Power State
Event
Reports a change to the chassis power state. The
system voltage may have crossed a configured
threshold or a power supply may have failed.

Chassis Thermal State
Event
Reports a change to the chassis thermal state. A
configured temperature threshold may have been
crossed.

Power Supply Status
Change Event
Reports a change to the power supply status. A
power supply failure may be the cause.

Cooling Device Status
Change Event
Reports a change to the fan status.

Battery Status Change
Event
Reports a change to the battery status. A change in
the battery charge state may be the cause.

Battery Input Status
Change Event
Reports that AC Input to the battery has been lost
or restored. A power failure may be the cause.

Temperature Probe Low
Warning Event
Reports that a low temperature warning threshold
has been crossed.

Temperature Probe
High Warning Event
Reports that a high temperature warning threshold
has been crossed.

Temperature Probe Low
Fatal Event
Reports that a low temperature fatal classification.
