How do I play media?
Media is not available on all models and is only available in selected countries.
Media allows users to play stored media files installed on your Navman or on a memory card.
Transferring media files
You can play music and video files that are stored on your Navman or on a memory card. Follow the steps
below to transfer the media files from the computer to your Navman.
1. If this is the first time you want to play media files on your Navman, you have to tap to access the
Media application before connecting to the computer.
The “My Audio” and “My Videos” folders will be created in the root directory of the Navman system.
2. Connect your Navman to the computer.
For more instructions, refer to the “How do I connect my Navman to my computer?” section in the
Hardware User Manual .
3. Use Windows File Explorer to copy/move the media files from the computer to “My Audio” folder or “My
Videos” folder of your Navman.
Only the files in “My Audio” or “My Videos” of Navman can be detected by the Media application.
Playing audio files
Only mp3, wma, wav audio formats are supported for the audio feature.
If your files are on a memory card, insert the card into your Navman.
How do I listen to a music file on my Navman?
1. On the Main Menu, tap .
2. There are several ways to play audio files on your Navman. Choose one of the following:
If you want to … Then …
play all music files, tap Songs and select a song to start with from the Songs screen.
sort music files by an artist, tap Artists and select an artist from the Artists screen.
listen to music files in an album, tap Albums and select an album from the Albums screen.
play music files randomly, tap Play Random.
3. The Now Playing screen will display.
