Assembly
The following instructions provide direction on the assembly of the Nautilus® K2
™
Vertical Climber. All instructions in the
manual are given with the orientation of standing on a level surface and facing the machine.
Step 1: Unpacking the K2
™
Vertical Climber

Tools:
* Box Knife/side cutters
* Hammer
* Pry bar
* Adjustable Wrench.
* Adjustable Pliers
1-1 Remove the outer cardboard box using the
hammer/pry bar to remove staples along the bottom
of the box (Figure 1)

1-2 Using a box knife or side cutters, cut the banding
that secures the front of the machine to the pallet.
(Figure 2)
1-3 Remove the bolts that mount the rear of the main
frame to the pallet using an adjustable wrench.

Step 2: Remove sub components for assembly
Parts:
* K2 Vertical Climber base unit
* Handrail assembly
* Ergobar Assembly –
Wrapped for protection.
* Hardware box
2-1 Place a soft pad (blanket) on the ground next to
the K2 Vertical Climber.

Use a second person when performing assembly
steps requiring heavy lifting or awkward movements.
2-2 Remove the Handle Bar assembly from the box
and set it on the soft blanket.
2-3 Remove the Ergobar assembly from the parts box
and lay it on the soft surface to prevent scratching of
the finish.
2-4 With the assistance of another person, remove the
K2
™
Vertical Climber base from the pallet.
