Drain Line

Gas Furnace 

Waterless Trap

The waterless trap is provided with the unit can be installed in two different locations. This trap 

will seal when the inducer motor starts and will hold a small column of water until the inducer 

motor operation is terminated. At that point the trap will drain completely. It is important to 

keep the trap mounted in a vertical position at all times. Since this is the primary trap used 

for drainage of the furnace it is also important not to build any other trap into the furnace 

condensate drain.
