Appendix A: Setting Jumpers
When you install internal options in the system, you
may need to change jumpers on the option card or on
the motherboard. This section explains how to set
jumpers.
Jumpers
To install the jumper, place it over the pins and push
down until it completely covers the pins. Be careful not
to bend the pins. You can usually remove a jumper
with your fingers. If the jumper is stuck on the pins, you
might need to use a bent paper-clip or a needle-nosed
pliers to remove it.
