Viper TX – Operation Instructions

5.3.5.2 Cleaning procedure

Step 1 :

Power ON the printer and go to the WiperClean Setup Menu. This will cause the unlocking of the
carriage.

Step 2 :

The carriage moves to the waiting position for cleaning the mesh.

Step 3 :

Push one corner of the supported mesh down.

Step 4 :

Grab the mesh by the sides and take it out as shown in the image below.

Step 5 :

Rinse the mesh with Mutoh water based textile cleaning liquid, until the ink is removed.

Step 6 :

Place the clean mesh on a dust free cloth for 1 minute, to drain most liquid.

Step 7 :

Rinse the spitting box with water (use the rinsing bottle)
