DIALING RULES
Creating New Dialing Rules
To create new dialing rules:
Note:
Add Dialing Rules in the particular order you want to apply them.
1.
Go to
Fax Configuration > Dialing Rules.
2.
Click
Add.
3.
Enter
Name.
4.
Click
Save.
The Edit Dialing Rules page appears.
5.
Click
Add
to add rule. For details, see Adding a Rule.
6.
After adding the rule, use the arrow icons,
, to set the order for that rule
7.
Click
Done.
Adding a Rule
Adding a rule:
1.
Enter a
Pattern.
For help with patterns, refer to Dialing Rule Patterns.
2.
Select an
Action
from the drop down list. For details, refer to Dialing Rule Actions.
3.
Some actions require an Argument. If a drop down list appears for Argument, select an argument from
the list.
4.
Click
Save
. The Edit Dialing Rules page appears.
On the Editing Dialing Rules page, set the rule order and click Done. For more refer to Editing Dialing Rules or
Create a New Dialing Rule.
Applying New Dialing Rules
By default, Dialing Rules are set to
none
. To apply Dialing Rules:

In SIP fax Dialing Rules, List is applied to all fax channels.
1.
Go to
Fax Configuration > SIP / T.38.
2.
Select a list from the
Dialing Rules
drop down list.
3.
Click
Save.
Editing Dialing Rules
To edit dialing rules
1.
Click Fax Configuration > Dialing Rules .
2.
Click the Edit icon,
, for the rule you want to edit.
3.
To change the Name, type the new name and click
Save.
4.
To add a rule, click
Add.

5.
After adding the rule, use the up and down arrows,
, to set the order for that rule
6.
Click
Done.
