Stretcher bed will not function on AC
Power (works on battery power). Hand
control lights are off. No green light
visible on power supply through back of
stretcher bed.
Stretcher bed power cord is not securely
connected.
Verify power cord is securely connected at
both ends.
Facility power or receptacle problem.
Facility power circuit breaker problem.
Check facility’s power receptacle with a
known working device of same voltage
specifications. Also check facility circuit
breaker to verify it is not tripped if no
power to known working device.
Facility supply voltage is incorrect voltage. Verify voltage is per specifications on
stretcher bed serial number/product tag.
Fuses have blown.
Verify fuses are not burnt. Replace fuse(s)
if necessary. See “Fuse Replacement
Stretcher bed Power Supply is faulty.
Contact Customer Service.

Stretcher bed will not function on battery

Battery is not fully inserted.
Confirm the battery is fully inserted.
Battery is low or out of power.
Check battery fuel gauge. Swap or charge
battery if necessary.

Stretcher bed will not function. Hand
control lights are off. Green light visible on
power supply through back of stretcher
bed.
Stretcher bed is off.
Press the “On” Button on the hand
control or unplug the stretcher bed for 30
seconds and plug it back in.
Faulty Hand Control
Test an alternate hand control from
similar equipment. Test foot control from
similar equipment.
Faulty Hand Control Jack
Test the same hand control in the foot
control jack.
Stretcher bed PCA isn’t functioning
correctly.
Contact Customer Service.

The stretcher bed suddenly loses power
while the stretcher bed is operating on
battery power.
Loads on the stretcher bed have caused
the battery to shut off.
Battery will reset after approximately 1
minute.

Lift, Back, Tilt, or Foot functions will not
function.
An actuator is experiencing excessive
loads.
Remove or reposition patient, move the
stretcher bed in opposite direction, then
in the intended direction to continue
normal operation.
An actuator is not functioning or Stretcher
bed PCA isn’t functioning correctly.
