MODE INDICATOR: Each locking bar has a mode indicator line
on the center of the pedal that points to the adjacent indicator
label on the base of the stretcher bed. Note that the (3) Total
Lock Casters operate the same whether they are in FREE or
STEER Mode.
MODE INDICATOR
LOCK MODE: This mode is used to prevent movement of the
stretcher bed. When both pedals are in the LOCK position; all (4)
casters will not roll or swivel.
FREE MODE: This mode is used when you need to pull the
stretcher bed away from an object in a perpendicular direction
or turn the stretcher bed with a zero radius. When both pedals
are in the FREE position; all (4) casters will roll and swivel freely.
STEERING MODE: This mode is used for transport as the
Steering Caster acts as a steering wheel to aid in easy transport.
When one pedal is in the STEER position the opposite pedal
should be in the FREE position; the Total Lock Casters will roll
and swivel freely and the Steering Caster(s) will roll but will not
swivel.
WARNING/AVERTISSEMENT
If the stretcher bed has the Selective Steer Option, do not put both
the left-hand and right-hand locking bar in the STEER Position. This
will prevent the stretcher bed from turning.

NOTICE/AVIS
Orient the steering caster opposite the direction of travel to prevent
the casters from wobbling.
