Headrest Operation

1. To attach the headrest.
A. Loosen the knob on the
articulating headrest lock
mechanism.
B. Rotate the articulating
headrest lock mechanism
forward.
C. Remove the knob on the
back of the headrest (turn
counterclockwise).
D. Insert the headrest pintle into
the articulating headrest lock
mechanism.
E. Reattach the knob into the
end of the headrest pintle (turn
clockwise).
F. Reposition the headrest to
a desired location and tighten
the knob on the articulating
headrest mechanism.
2. To adjust the height of the
headrest:
A. To loosen, turn the knob on
the back of the stretcher bed
counterclockwise.
B. Adjust the height of the
headrest.
C. To secure, turn the knob
clockwise.
The headrest can be completely
removed, if desired, when the
knob is loosened.
3. To adjust the angle of the
headrest:
A. To loosen, turn the knob on
the articulating headrest lock
mechanism counterclockwise.
B. Adjust the position and angle
of the headrest.
C. To secure, turn the knob
clockwise.
4. To remove a headrest:
A. Loosen the knob on the
articulating headrest lock
mechanism.
B. Rotate the articulating
headrest lock mechanism
forward.
C. Remove the knob on the
back of the headrest (turn
counterclockwise).
D. Pull the headrest completely
out of the headrest lock
mechanism.
E. Reattach the knob to the end
of the headrest pintle to keep it
from being lost (turn clockwise).
Steering Handle Operation
1. To raise the steering handle:
Rotate the handle upwards
until the handle locks into a
horizontal position.

1. To collapse the steering
handle:
A. Slide and hold the handle
release latch outward.
B. Lower the handle, release the
latch and confirm the handle
snaps into the lower position.
