Standard Features
on the 340
The standard Vanguard 340 provides these features:
• Low Profile enclosure with rear accessible motherboard, and support for two
Vanguard Daughtercards
• 50 Mhz MPC860T PowerPC processor
• 4 Megabytes of Non-Volatile FLASH on board
• 4 to 8 Megabytes FLASH SIMM (optional)
• 16 Megabytes of SDRAM DIMM (expandable to 32 Megabytes - optional)
• Standard rear panel ports include:
- Two daughtercard ports
- One serial interface DB25 port supporting V.24, V.35, V.36, V.11/X.21
interfaces
- One Async (RJ-45 connector) Control Terminal Port (CTP) for local and
remote configuration, and management
- One 10/100BaseT Ethernet port with auto-sensing
- Up to Eight Voice Ports
• Data Compression and Encryption SIMM slot (optional)
• External power supply 62945-01 (APS Model APS61ES-30)
