Engine Warning Alarm System

to warn of engine overheating, low oil pressure or
other conditions. See the

Carbon Monoxide (CO)
Detector
A carbon monoxide detector is a safety device
designed to sound an audible alarm when carbon
monoxide is detected in the area of the detector.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) gas is colorless, odorless
and extremely dangerous. All engines and
fuel-burning appliances produce CO as exhaust.
CO detectors are recommended in areas where
CO build-up is a possibility, especially in boats
that have confined areas such as sleeping
quarters, galleys and head compartments.
Regularly check the condition of the CO detector
for proper operation. See the manufacturer’s
instructions for installation requirements and
operating instructions.
DANGER! EXTREME
HAZARD - Carbon monoxide (CO) gas is
colorless, odorless and extremely dangerous.
All engines and fuel-burning appliances
produce CO as exhaust. Direct and prolonged
exposure to CO will cause brain damage or
death.
