Weighing a two axle non slide motorhome.

• Record the gross axle weight ratings (GAWR) and

the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR).

• Weigh and record each wheel position or total axle

weight.

• If necessary, adjust the payload so the GAWR is not

exceeded. Total combined weights must not exceed
the GVWR.

• Using the tire chart, locate the recommended air

pressure for the weight carried by each tire. Adjust
the tire pressure accordingly.

Weighing a two axle slide out motorhome.

• Slide rooms must be in the retracted position.
• Record the gross axle weight ratings (GAWR) and

the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR).

• Weigh and record the weight placed on each tire. 
• If necessary, adjust the payload so the GAWR is not

exceeded. Total combined weights must not exceed
the GVWR.

• Using the tire chart, locate the recommended air

pressure for the weight carried by each tire. Adjust
the tire pressure accordingly.
