2.4 • INSTRUCTIONS FOR WATER CONNECTION
Water connection (excluding models with the optional water reservoir tank)
At the back of the machine, there are 2 inputs for hydraulic connection with ¾ male thread.
They are indicated with a label of 2 different colours:
• Softened water input (red label). Only cold softened water must be connected (max 50°C [122°F]).
• Mains water input (blue label). Cold mains water must be connected (no need to use softened water)
both inputs must be connected.
Water pressure in the mains supply should be between 150 and 500 kPa (21,7 and 72,5 Psi).
If actual pressure is higher, install a pressure reducer on the pipe leading to the appliance.
The water supply hoses must be provided by the installer and must comply with IEC 61770.
Do not re-use connection pipes that have already been used.
Softened water input
For the cavity humidifier supply, softened water must be connected.
The characteristics of the water must be within the following limits (in order to prevent corrosion, which
could damage the appliance):
HARDNESS: between 3° and 6° fH
PH: over 7,5
CHLORIDES: less than 30 ppm

Mains water input
It is used for cooling the exhaust vapors of the device, for the hand shower (if any) and for the automatic
washing (if any).
