Lift up MODELA and also remove any cuttings
that may have fallen underneath.

Unplug the power-cord plug from the electrical
outlet.

Remove any buildup of cuttings from under the table.

Metal cuttings

Detach the work plate.
While holding down the STANDBY key, switch on
the power to MODELA.
Press the VIEW key and move the table. Use a com-
mercially available brush to remove any metal cut-
tings that are exposed.
After removing the cuttings, hold down the
STANDBY key and switch off the power.

Other cuttings

Detach the work plate and use a vacuum cleaner to
take up any cuttings.
