F5 Riverbed Stone Setup
Four Riverbed stones and a collection of eight shale items constitute the Riverbed fuel bed, use the
index guide below to select the correct stone and quantities for each step of the installation.
To achieve a beautiful flame picture through the Riverbed Stones fuel bed and shale it is critical to
place the base shale and stones behind the retainers,
not over the gas ports
. All riverbed stones and
shale should be behind the retainers (completed in section F4 on page 41), clear of
ALL
gas ports.

Once the shale has been placed, begin to install the Riverbed stones, selecting the largest first through
to the smallest. Please follow the simple installation suggestion method through steps 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
