EXTENDING COOKING TIMES (2/2)
3. A minimum cook time of 6 hours and a maximum of 10 hours may
be set using the timer on Low setting. Intervals of 30 minutes may be
timed, for example 8 hours 30 minutes. The minimum and maximum
times may be further extended by utilising the two hour Keep Warm
period.
4. A minimum cook time of 4 hours and a maximum of 7 hours may
be set using the timer on High setting. Intervals of 30 minutes may be
timed, for example 5 hours 30 minutes. The minimum and maximum
times may be further extended by utilising the two hour Keep Warm
period.
5. Economical cheaper cuts of meat can be purchased and tenderised
using the long slow cooking method. Running costs of a Slow Cooker
are also considerably lower than putting the oven on for a casserole or
using the hob to steam a pudding.
CARE AND CLEANING (1/2)
1. Turn off and unplug your Slow Cooker from the mains. Allow to cool
completely before cleaning.
2. Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaners when cleaning.
3. Remove the Glass Lid (2) and Cooking Pot (3) and clean in hot
soapy water.
4. Wipe the sides of the main unit with a damp cloth.
5. The Glass Lid and Cooking Pot are dish washer safe.
6. DO NOT IMMERSE THE MAIN UNIT IN WATER!
7. Please handle the Glass Lid(2) and Cooking Pot(3) carefully to
ensure long life.
8. Avoid sudden, extreme temperature changes to the Glass Lid. For
example, do not place a hot lid into cold water or onto a wet surface.
9. Avoid hitting the Glass Lid against any hard surfaces.
10. Do not use the Glass Lid if chipped, cracked or severely scratched.
11. Do not use abrasive cleansers or metal scouring pads.
