TO DISPLAY to the Mitsubishi display monitor audio
inputs.
Connection to a DVI monitor or non-MonitorLink TV:
. Connect a MonitorLink or DVI cable from the
Mitsubishi HD- MonitorLink output to the
monitor or TV DVI input. You may need to obtain
from your local electronics or computer store an adaptor
to match the connectors. The HD- uses a  pin
DVI-I type cable but will be compatible when used with
an adaptor with a  pin DVI-D input. It will not be
compatible with DVI-A inputs. Check your monitor
Owner’s Guide for details.
. Connect the L (left) and R (right) audio cables from
the Mitsubishi HD- Receiver/Controller Output
to Display to the audio inputs on the display monitor or
TV.

Connection to a Mitsubishi display monitor

. Connect a MonitorLink cable from the Mitsubishi
HD- Receiver/Controller back panel to the
Mitsubishi display monitor MonitorLink input.
. Connect the MonitorLink Control cable from the
Mitsubishi HD- Receiver/Controller back panel
to the Mitsubishi display monitor MonitorLink Control
input.
. Connect the L (left) and R (right) audio cables from the
Mitsubishi HD- Receiver/Controller OUTPUTS

When connecting to DVI inputs of other monitors, connector adaptors may be needed. These are
available at electronic and computer stores.
When used as a DVI output, the MonitorLink output terminal is compliant with the EIA-861
standard for HDTV, and may not be supported by some computer monitors. Please check your
computer monitor Owner’s Guide for more information. See Appendix B, page 76 for DVI
compatibility information.
