5. Remove the bulb from the socket as fol-

lows.

Type 1: Reversing lamp on the LED
type stop and tail lamp.
Pull the bulb out.

Type 2: Other lamps
Turn the bulb anticlockwise while
pressing in.

Type 1

Type 2

6. To install the bulb, perform the removal

steps in reverse.

NOTE

When mounting the lamp unit, align the
notch (H) and pin (I) on the lamp unit with
the clip (J) and hole (K) in the body.

NOTE

High-mounted stop lamp (bulb

type)*

1. Open the tailgate.

(Refer to “Tailgate” on page 3-18)

2. Insert a straight blade (or minus) screw-

driver with a cloth over its tip at the edge
of the cover and pry gently to remove
the cover (A).

3. Push the 4 hooks (B) and remove the

lamp unit. (Close the tailgate to cause
the lamp unit to come out.)

4. Gently close the tailgate, remove the

lamp unit, and turn the socket anticlock-
wise to remove it.
