One of the other causes could be low
battery voltage. If this occurs, the
keyless entry system, keyless opera-
tion function and steering lock will
also
not operate. Contact a
MITSUBISHI MOTORS Authorized
Service Point.
ACC power auto-cutout func-
tion
After about 30 minutes have elapsed with the
operation mode in ACC, the function auto-
matically cuts out the power for the audio
system and other electric devices that can be
operated with that position. (only when the
driver’s door has been closed and the selector
lever is in the “P” (PARK) position)
When you open the driver’s door or you op-
erate the engine switch again, the power is
supplied again.
NOTE
l When the ACC power supply automatically
stops, the steering wheel cannot lock and
you cannot lock and unlock the doors by the
keyless entry key and keyless operation key.
l It is possible to modify functions as follows:
• The time until the power cuts out can be
changed to approximately 60 minutes.
NOTE
• The ACC power auto-cutout function can
be deactivated.

Operation mode OFF reminder
system
When the operation mode is in any mode oth-
er than OFF, if you try to lock the doors and
tailgate by pressing the driver’s door lock/
unlock switch, or the tailgate lock/unlock
switch, a warning lamp will blink and the
outer buzzer will sounds for approximately 3
seconds and you cannot lock the doors and
tailgate.
Operation mode ON reminder
system
If the driver’s door is opened with the engine
stopped and the operation mode in any mode
other than OFF, the operation mode ON re-
minder inner buzzer sounds intermittently to
remind you to put the operation mode in
OFF.
Steering wheel lock

To lock
Remove the key at the “LOCK” position.
Turn the steering wheel until it is locked.
