PIPE

Adjust piping and secure clearance of about 10 to 15 mm around pipes.
Make sure clearance is secured especially between the following parts.

Between charge pipe and compressor cover, bottom pan, compressor,

or discharge pipe.

Between suction pipe and compressor cover or capillary tube.

Between capillary tube and lead wires.

Between HOT PIPE FINAL ASSY and bottom pan.

(1) Pierce the charge pipes (high pressure side and low pressure side) using the piercing tool, and connect the increased

safety explosion-proof vacuum pump to the refrigerant circuit. Vacuum up the refrigerant and discharge it to the outside.

(2) Cut the discharge and the suction pipes using a pipe cutter. (Do not use fire to remove the compressor as refrigerant may

be remained in refrigerating oil.)

(3) Pinch the hole on the high pressure side charge pipe (dryer side) to close it. Attach the coupler to the suction pipe and

provide nitrogen purge. (Be sure to provide nitrogen purge and make sure that no refrigerant remains in the circuit using
the gas leak alarm.)

(4) Remove the compressor. Heat the brazed parts of the dryer and the suction pipe and remove them.
