miDoor can have up to six (6) additional users added. Anyone using miDoor must have a user
account.
To add a user account first select the User Configuration page and from there select the ‘Add
New User’ link and fill in the fields. The ‘User Name’ and ‘User Password’ fields are required.
The ‘Email Address’ field is optional and is currently used to send email notifications for
triggered alarms if the user is marked as an Administrator (see Alarm Configuration.)
If the user is selected as an administrator then the user will receive any alarm notifications and
will be able to modify the system settings.
The ‘User Enabled’ field can be used to disable a user account without removing the account
from the device.
Users can be granted the ability to control the garage door (open or close) at specific time
periods within a day or given full 24-hour access. To select 24-hour access the ’24-Hour
Access’ field must be selected.
To limit the time of day that a user can control the garage door deselect the ’24-Hour Access’
checkbox and fill in the ‘From’ and ‘To’ fields.
Once all of the fields are configured select the ‘Add User’ button to create and save the new
user account.
To modify or delete an existing user account select the user from the list of users. Once
selected all of the editable fields will be updated with the user information.
Once any updates are made use the ‘Update User’ button to change and save the settings.
Use the ‘Delete User’ button to permanently delete a user from the device.
