The components you need to install depend on the way your printer is
connected to the network.

A-3-1 Installing and Setting Up the

TCP/IP Protocol

On the

Start

menu, point to

Settings

and then click

Control

Panel

Control Panel

, double-click

Network

On the

dialog box, display the

Protocol

tab.

TCP/IP Protocol

is displayed in the

Network Protocols

list, it

means that TCP/IP is already installed and there is no need for you
to continue with the rest of this procedure.
