White balance
(Light source selection): during installation, it is not necessary to set the white balance setting of the camera.
The digital camera will adjust itself based on the light conditions where the MacroVIEW is placed. Therefore,
the user must select the type of light source in the laboratory among these options, in order to obtain the
best colour contrast.
SELECT THIS OPTION IF:
Auto You do not know the type of light source of the room.
The camera automatically evaluates the white balance based on the framed
image.
Indoor
For lighting with warm light.
Outdoor
For lighting with cold light.
Outdoor Auto This option allows you to perform a specific automatic white balance for outdoors.
These changes take place when the user clicks “Save and Close”. It is not necessary to restart the software.
At the top right of this page, authorized technical personnel can enter the specific password and click
“Reserved” to access the advanced camera settings (only if necessary).
By clicking “Zoom” at the top left of this page (Optical zoom settings), the following page opens, where the
zoom levels corresponding to the Standard or Extended setting are shown.
The picture below shows the default settings.
It is possible to change the single zoom steps manually by clicking on the individual boxes and entering the
required value.
Note that the space required for saving each image is twice that shown in the table above.
In fact, the system automatically saves each image in both JPEG and m5p formats.
It is only possible to enter whole numbers.
