Procedure to follow
• Spray the decontaminant.
• Wait 30 minutes.
• Wipe with wet paper towel.
• Clean with alcohol.
• Dry with a dry cloth or paper towel.
• Wipe with wet paper towel and dry with dry paper towel.
Final steps
• Reposition the optional parts.
• Before removing gloves, wash them with soap, water and disinfectant.
• Wash your hands.
• Remove the individual protection devices.
• Make sure the contaminated material is packed and disposed in an approved incinerator in
compliance with all federal, provincial and local government regulations.
On completion of the cleaning operations, wait at least 5 minutes before connecting
MacroVIEW to the power supply.
Ensure that MacroVIEW is generally kept clean after each use. Do not use abrasive or
sharp tools which can damage its surfaces.
FOR CLEANING DO NOT USE PROCEDURES OTHER THAN THOSE EXPLAINED IN THIS
MANUAL. An improper procedure could ruin the tool and terminate the warranty.
6.3. Battery replacement
Increase the life cycle of the battery by fully charging it as soon as possible after use.
It is recommended to replace the battery after 3 years.
Never leave the unit unused with a flat battery.
If the equipment remains unused for a long time, disconnect the battery as described in
chapter 2.3.2 and fully charge it to be reused.
Keep the battery charged when it is not in use.
Call your Technical Assistant to substitute battery.
