Switching off the sintering oven

Switch the sintering oven

 

off at the mains switch.

The mains indicator lamp on the main switch goes out.

Caution

Risk of burns from the residual heat of the high-temperature oven!

The heating chamber can retain a significant amount of residual heat 
even when the oven is switched off. There is a risk of burns from the 

heating chamber walls and the oven door.
Therefore:

Make sure the sintering oven

 has cooled down sufficiently before 

carrying out any work on it. It takes at least four hours for the sintering 
oven to cool down from the maximum temperature to around room 
temperature.
