Cottons Max. load 7 kg*
Extra dry, Normal**
Use for Single and multi-layered cotton fabrics such as Towelling,
T-shirts, underwear, flannelette bed linen and baby clothes.
Notes – Select Extra dry for multi-layered and very thick fabrics.
– Do not use Extra dry for loopknit fabrics (e.g. T-shirts,
underwear, baby clothes), as they have a tendency to shrink.
Gentle tumble – For items which are not suitable for drying with a great deal of
mechanical action.
Hand iron**, Machine iron
Use for Cotton or linen fabric, e.g. table linen, bed linen, starched
laundry.
Note – To prevent laundry from drying out it should be rolled up until
you are ready for ironing.
Minimum iron Max. load 3.5 kg*
Normal**, Hand iron
Use for Minimum iron cotton, synthetic and mixed fibre fabric, e.g. tops,
dresses, trousers, skirts and table cloths.
Gentle tumble – For items which are not suitable for drying with a great deal of
mechanical action.
Delicates Max. load 2.5 kg*
Normal, Hand iron
Use for Synthetic, mixed fibre, rayon and easy care cotton, e.g. shirts,
blouses, lingerie and appliquéd garments.

** Note for test institutes: Use this programme without selecting Gentle tumble
for testing according to Standard EN 61121.
