Opening the drum door in the
event of a blocked drain and/or
power failure
,
Disconnect the washer-extractor
and tumble dryer stack from the
electrical supply.
There is a lever behind the detergent
drawer fascia panel which opens the
access flap to the drain system.

Remove the lever.
^
Use it to open the access flap.
Drain the washer-extractor
If the drain outlet is clogged, a large
amount of water will be retained in the
washer-extractor
(approx. 9 gallons /
35 liters) .

Caution: if laundry has been
washed at a high temperature,
water draining out of the machine
will still be hot. Danger of scalding.
... Washer-extractors with a drain
filter

Place a suitable container under the
access flap.
When draining water from the
washer-extractor, do
not unscrew
the drain filter completely or take it
right out.
^
Unscrew the drain filter lid until water
runs out.
To stop the flow of water:
^
Tighten the drain filter back up again.
