Cleaning the filter housing

The filter housing should be
checked from time to time, and
cleaned when there is a build-up of
lint there.

Quick cleaning

Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the
lint

– from the cover in the door opening

(above), and

– from the ducting area in front of the

impeller (below) if the lint filter has
been removed for cleaning.

Extra cleaning

– Fan

The fan behind the filter access panel
can become clogged with detergent
residues and lint.

Check the fan from time to time, and
clean it if it becomes clogged.

Using a damp cloth, carefully clean
residues from the fan.

At the same time, clean the area in
front of the fan.

Clean away lint using the vacuum
cleaner.

Remove any lint from the inside of the
open access panel and the rubber
seal, taking care not to damage the
seal.
