Explanation of the different
settings
Switching Holiday mode  on/off
This function is useful when you go on
holiday if you do not wish to switch the
refrigerator off completely and do not
need a high degree of cooling.
The refrigerator is regulated at a
temperature of 15 °C, which
automatically sets the temperature in
the PerfectFresh Pro zone to between
9 and 12 °C. In this way, the refrigerator
remains in operation whilst saving
energy.
As a result of the higher temperature
during Holiday mode, the shelf life of
the food is reduced.
Do not store any temperature-
sensitive food which goes off easily
such as fruit, vegetables, fish, meat
and dairy products during this time.
Food which does not go off quickly can
be stored in the refrigerator for some
time at this moderate temperature, and
energy consumption is lower than in
normal operation.
This also prevents the build-up of
odours and mould which can occur if
the refrigerator is switched off and the
door is closed.
