5.8.9 Statistical Analysis
With retrieval of an article in the stock list, also the calculation of the statistical character-
istic values of the production is started. The following characteristic values are calculated
and displayed:
- Median, minimum, maximum and standard deviation (= sigma)
- Percentage measurements within resp. outside tolerance
- Percentage measurements within resp. outside 3 sigma
- Display of distribution of the measurement values in a histogram
- Cp and Cpk
The characteristic values are visualized in view

mark the lower resp. upper tolerance and the setpoint.

displays almost the same information as the view

. The only difference between the two views is that the

Trends
view displays all length trends as different coloured lines in one combined view.
This allows the user to have a quick look onto all length trends and the thickness trend of
all tracks without the need to scroll through separate views or subprofiles.
