5.2 Login and Logout
When the system is turned on the computer boots at first; the operating system Windows
is loaded. The user has to login to the operating system with user name and password.
- User name: thickcon
- Password: thickcon
You can only access the measurement program with this identification. If you want to
access other components of the Windows system, you have to use the administrator
account resp. thickconsys account (= user, password = thickconsys). The measurement
program is automatically started after operating system login. As the measuring system
is in its initial state (parking position), no measuring values are displayed initially.

In the submenu
User
functions for login resp. logout, maintenance of rights and pass-
words of single user groups are accessible, see Fig. 31
Two password levels are defined in the system. Higher level is used for configuration of
the visualization and parameterization of the measuring system. Login happens automat-
ically with the user thickCon in systems with Auto-LogOn.

To prevent the measuring system from unauthorized access, it can be locked by person-
nel. Therefore the user has to log out first. Access on software is refused until a men-
tioned user logs in again. You can see if resp. who is currently logged in, in the status
bar downright in the program.
